It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Nelson Weatherly (Kansas City, Missouri), who passed away on March 1, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joyce Weatherly and John N. Weatherly, Sr.; and his sister Carol Evans. He is survived by: his wife Lyn Weatherly; his children, John Weatherly III (Chandra), Janice Ballard (Kent), Gary Weatherly, Terri Dunn (Pat), Shelley Reynolds (Tim) and Brenda Weatherly; and his great grandchildren, Shih Tzu and Lulu. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Terrace Park Funeral Home (801 NW 108th St, Kansas City, MO 64155). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at the same location.
