He was predeceased by: his former wife Barbara; his parents, Leopold Levy and Martha Levy; and his brother Warner Levy. He is survived by: his son Michael Levy; his grandchildren, Monica Levy, Michaella Rekowski (Kevin), Marjorie Hunt (Jacob) and Matthew Levy (Megan); his stepgrandchildren, Ryan Breitenbach, Trevor Breitenbach and Katie Breitenbach; his great grandchildren, Evelyn, Aubrey, Addison, Victoria and Gabriel; and his spouse Bobbie.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Jewish War Veterans (jwv.org) or to Rabbi's Discretionary Fund, Congregation Beth Torah.
