It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Michael Murray of Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on May 21, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Murray (Geno) and Wilma Lee Murray (Willie); and his brother Jim Murray. He is survived by: his wife Marcia Murray (Morris); his mother-in-law Orvaline Morris; his siblings, Pat Murray (Leslie) and Kathy Lanter (Dave); his sister-in-law Joyce Murray; his siblings' child Kelly Monroe (Matt); and his grandchildren, Katherine, Jake, Matthew, Alex, Molly, Mary Jane, Hudson and Sullivan.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to University of Kansas Cancer Center, Curé of Ars Catholic Church, or Kansas City Hospice.
