It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce M. Walker (Kansas City, Missouri), who passed away on November 21, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer A. Dodson and Alice Potthast Dodson; her brother Jerry Dodson; her former husband EJ Johnson; her son Terry Johnson; her husband Jack Walker; and her daughter Denise Norman (Johnson).
She is survived by: her son Stephen Johnson (Kelly); her son-in-law Paul Norman; her grandchildren, Emily Johnson (Landon Schmidt), Stephanie Kempf, Emma Cook and Madolyn Cook; her stepgrandchildren, Tyler Essman (Ashley) and Spenser Essman (Erin); her stepgreat-grandsons, Graham, Maddox and Arthur; her stepson Michael Walker (Joan); her stepgrandsons, Christopher and Stephen; her stepnephew Timm Walker (Karen); her sisters-in-law, Shirley Calvert (Nathan) and Janice Dodson (Jerry); her nieces, Tymm and Layna; and her great-nieces, Katherine and Jodi. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
