She was predeceased by : her parents, Shinsuke Oshiro and Nabe Oshiro; her husband Tom H. Wells Jr.; her siblings, Toshi Furugen, Haruko Oshiro and Shintoku Oshiro; and her granddaughter Tamara Vaughn.

She is survived by : her children, Katherine Webb (Jesse), Doris Wells, Linda Wells and Calvin Wells; and her grandchildren, Nicole Webb, Alicia Webb (Daniel), Quiana Strickland (Korey), Carmen Strickland, Darvin Booker (Alicia), LaRhonda Nelson Tiffany Wells (Darien), Desiree Vaughn, Kennisha Martin (Alonzo), Benny Cook, Veronica Shackelford (Jarawn) and James Lewis-Reeves. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
