In loving memory of Lenora Maxine Downey of Kansas City, Missouri, who departed this world on October 6, 2025 at the age of 94. Lenora leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Lenora shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Lenora farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ode Charles and Ethel Marie Meech (Hall); her daughter Lana Marie Downey; and her sister Virginia Rash. She is survived by: her children, James Charles, Linda Orth (George Grzanowicz) and Lisa Miller (Dale). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Crescent Hill Cemetery (14458 NW County Rd 1001, Adrian, MO 64720).
