She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleven Carter and Leona Sutton-Carter; her siblings, Lurlene Davenport, Barbara Jones, James T. Carter Sr., Robert W. Carter and Glover C. Carter; her children, Phyllis Robinson and Joseph Robinson Sr.; and her grandsons, Gary Robinson and Joseph R. Robinson.

She is survived by: her sons, Gary Robinson Sr. and Jon Chase (RaShawnda Graves); her daughter-in-law Agatha Robinson; her grandchildren, Kia, Kizzy, Iris, Phyllis Harrison and Jonniesha Chase; and her siblings, Booker Carter (Lida), Gloria Vanoy (Charles) and Eric.
