Louis Ray Gilbert Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Louis Ray Gilbert of Kansas City, Missouri, born in Weaubleau, Missouri, who passed away on February 17, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Louis Ray Gilbert to show support.
Though Louis may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Louis touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
In lieu of flowers, Lou wanted donations to be made to "Play It Forward" (SWMO), a place that helps underprivileged people learn music.
