She was predeceased by: her parents, John Pennel and Ruby Pennel (Haskell); her husband Donald E. Grayson; her granddaughter Alicia Norwood; and her sisters, Vera Lovejoy, Juanita Sublett and Florence Pennel.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela Grayson of Kansas City, Missouri and Bari Grayson of Kansas City, Missouri; her siblings, John Pennel, Jr. of Hiawatha, Kansas, Joann Anderson of Topeka and Phyllis J. Dydell of Highland, Kansas; and her grandchildren, Austen Hardin, David Hardin IV and Aalayah Norwood. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces nephews and friends.
