She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Davis and Beatrice Davis (Petersen); her husband James "Jim" Rucker of Richmond; her son Michael Wayne Rucker; and her brothers, Fred and Leonard Davis.
She is survived by: her son Jim Rucker (Donna) of Kansas City; her grandchildren, Jimmie Rucker (Rachel) of Kansas City, Andrea Nowlin (Jeff) of Smyrna, GA, Scott Bussard of Kansas City and Angie Creasy (Spence) of Nashville, TN.; and her friend Michele Kist (Steve Starr). She is also survived by nine great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
Memorial contributions in Marian's name can be made to Our Lady of Mercy Country Home in Liberty.
