With sadness, we share the passing of Marina Vaca Tinoco (Kansas City, Missouri). Marina, born on February 24, 1937, passed away on October 1, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Conrado Vaca and Maria Isabel Cortez; her husband Gabe; her sons, Jimmy, Gabriel and Eddie; and her siblings, Conrad, Jesus, Ramon, Epifanio, Rigoberto, Miguel and Consuelo.
She is survived by: her children, Anthony (Roseanna), Teresa Valdivia (Robert), Jeanette Hernandez (Miguel) and Philip; and her sisters, Paula Tinoco and Anita Esparza (Bibiano). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
A rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the McGilley State Line Chapel (12301 State Line Rd, Kansas City, MO 64145). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart-Guadalupe Parish (2544 Madison Ave, Kansas City, MO 64108). A committal service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery (1150 N 38th St, Kansas City, KS 66102).
