He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Cubley and Anne Cubley; his siblings, Donna Hunt and William Cubley (Glenn); and his nephew Matthew Cubley.

He is survived by: his wife Jody; his children, Kasey Cubley and Mark Cubley (Zada); his grandson Daws Cubley; his brother Leeland Cubley (Ginny); and his siblings-in-law, Ladonna Cubley and Cliff Hunt (Lisa). He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews, and 24 great nieces and nephews.
