He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Blakeman and Louise Blakeman; and his sister Glenda Louise Walje. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn; his nephews, Michael Walje (Christy) and Steven Walje (Jennifer); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Matthew Walje (Tessa), Jordan Grimmett (Taylor), Mikayla Nichols (Praus), Sarah Loveing (Austin), Nathan Walje (Katelyn), Abgail Walje, Colton Walje, Hailie Abkes, Alaina Abkes and Morgan Bales (Micah); and also, Jesse, Jase, Karleigh, Emmy, Ira, Iyla, Fae, Das, Olivia, Sylvia, Levi, Eli and Leo.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Platte Woods United Methodist Church (7310 NW Prairie View Rd, Platte Woods, MO 64151). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
