He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Maiden and Lola Maiden-Anderson (Drake); and his sister Monika O'Dette Maiden-Raglin. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Markeese Maiden, Kaizon Maiden, Kiimora Washington, Marsaun Maiden, Yaiir Maiden and Sariiya Maiden; his sister Miriam O'Neida Maiden of Garland, TX; and his nephews, Ronald G. Raglin II of Kansas City, MO and Nehemiah D. Lewis (Juels) of Woodward, OK. He is also survived by uncles, cousins.
