He is survived by: his wife Maria Persell; and his sons, Sam (Jeanie Persell), Phil (Regina Persell), Nathan (Shawn Persell), Jim (Kathy Persell), John Caime and Pat (Rosie Caime). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
