Myrtle Auxier Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Myrtle Auxier of Kansas City, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 6, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orval Chesley Richards, Sr. and Mildred Edna Richards (Hersh); and her siblings, Orval Richards, Jr. and Florene Robertson. She is survived by: her husband Lowell Auxier; her children, Roger Auxier (Bonnie), Rick Auxier (Jean) and Cheryl Roush (John); and her grandchildren, Emily Howell (Joseph), Zeb Auxier (Aimee), Sara Parker (Seth), Ben Auxier, Hana Thomas (Luke), Nathan Roush, Alyssa Roush, Luke Roush, Erika Roush and Jessica Roush. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home (109 N 3rd St, Gower, MO 64454). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to St. Jude's Hospital.
