She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert B. Walker and Lois Carter Walker; her husband Al Smith; and her son-in-law John Blake (Jeb). She is survived by: her children, Stan Smith (Jean), Susie Rupp (Tim), Terri Blake (Jeb) and Tim Smith (Giovanna); her grandchildren, Matthew Smith (Sarah), Meredith Owings (Nathan), Megan Rupp, Josh Rupp (Ashley), Kyle Rupp (Leslie), Brandon Blake, Ben Blake (Cassie), Luke Smith and Mattie Smith; her great grandchildren, Emma, Jack, Anna, Luke, Ava Smith, Parker, Andrew, Carson Owings, Logan Rupp, Leah Rupp, Bethany, Haleigh Blake, John Rogers and Antitan Hesser; and her brother Joe Walker (Mary). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Country Club United Methodist Church (400 W 57th St, Kansas City, MO 64113).
