He was predeceased by: his parents, R. A. Hubbard and Ollie Mae Hubbard; and his brother Jimmy Hubbard. He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly Michele (Walter); his wife Sandra Hubbard; his daughter KaAnna Hubbard; his granddaughter Karrington Stafford; his niece Marilyn Hinton (Gus); and his nephew Jamaine Hubbard.

In the place of flowers the family is asking to send donations to Lincoln University Alumni Association or Ebenezer A.M.E. Church.
