She was predeceased by: her parents, Almer Bennett (Red) and Thelmer O'Neal Bennett; her husband John Young; her children, Eric Young, Bernadette and Theresa; and her siblings, Sharon Bennett Ogles, Raymond, Willie and Almer Bennett.
She is survived by: her daughter Andrea Rene Kelley; and her grandchildren, Joniece Kelley Flournoy (Brent) and Ronnie Kelley Jr.. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Watkins Heritage Chapel (4000 Emanuel Cleaver II Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64130).
