He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Genova and Marie Genova (DiCapo); his parents-in-law, Gerry Shepherd and Gene Shepherd; his brothers-in-law, Art and Fred Shepherd; and his nephew Joe Mike Bonacorso.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his children, Charles, Peter Joseph Jr. (Lupita) and Marie; his grandchildren, Catherine, Nicki and Peter Joseph Genova III; his siblings-in-law, Gene Shepherd (Mary) and Diane Bonacorso (Joe); his sister Debbie Stanley (John); and his cousin Joe Spinello. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
