The memory of Phyllis Catherine (Duckworth) Eason in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on September 30, 2025 at the age of 86, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Duckworth and Clara Duckworth; her spouse Alva Dennis Eason; and her brother Shelton Duckworth. She is survived by: her siblings, Preston Duckworth, Margaret (Vernon) and Joyce (Alvin); her daughter Rachel Luckel (Eason); her son-in-law Shelby Luckel; and her grandchildren, Jon, Nelson (Kat), Dayana and Stefany. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and numerous other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Southland Baptist Church (16205 Vicie Ave, Belton, MO 64012). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Mount Moriah Cemetery South Officiated (10507 Holmes Rd, Kansas City, MO 64131).
