He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack McKenzie and Bennie Beach McKenzie. He is survived by: his siblings, Marshall McKenzie (Carol) and Janet McKenzie Reinwald (Ross); his wife Karen Wantland McKenzie; his children, Luke McKenzie and Allison McKenzie Barvick; his son-in-law Joe Barvick; and his grandchildren, Sam, Jack, Liam, Edith and Patrick Barvick. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the White Chapel Cemetery (6600 NE Antioch Rd, Gladstone, MO 64119). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Ted Dickey West Funeral Home (7990 President George Bush Tpke, Dallas, TX 75252).
