He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Sutton and Lillian Sutton (Sandy); his son Ray Sandy Sutton, Jr.; and his brother Randall K. Sutton. He is survived by: his wife Lynda Rexius of Kansas City; his children, Stuart Sutton (Michele) of Overland Park, KS and Kirsten Schurr (Robert) of Gilbertsville, PA; his grandchildren, Quintin Sutton, Taylor Sutton, Ian Sutton, Bennett Schurr and Ian Schurr; and his nieces, Beth Reynolds and Stephanie Upton.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Boy Scouts of America or Wakenda Cemetery Foundation.
