She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Byers and Esther Byers (Rubin); and her siblings, Connie Reitzes, Paul Byers and Robert Byers.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Franklin Hans; her sons, Michael (Wendy), Steven, John and Bill (Jennifer Greenstreet); her grandchildren, Whitney Wendel, Collin Wendel and Tiernan Hans; and her friend Cecille Silverman.
