He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Sims and Gladys Sims (Moore); and his brother Clifford Sims. He is survived by: his son Michael Sims (Chris); his granddaughters, Laura Homan (Zach) and Aimee Furrell (Jordan); and his great grandchildren, Jaxon, Junie, Olivia, Grayson, Noah and Jones.
