She was predeceased by: her parents, Logan Ralph and Lillian Margaret Schoenfeld Hamlin; and her siblings, Patty Jo Hamlin Sage and Barry Roger Hamlin. She is survived by: her husband Richard B. Barger; and her pets, Tigger and Cheetah. She is also survived by seven nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's United Methodist Church (6900 Ward Pkwy, Kansas City, MO 64113). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Malta Bend Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, St. John's United Methodist Church, Country Club United Methodist Church, or the University of Missouri-Columbia in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home.
