It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert A. Kalwei of Kansas City, Missouri, born in Appleton City, Missouri, who passed away on September 19, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Kalwei and Agnes Kalwei (Fessler); and his sisters, Joann Jurgensmeyer (Willard) and Patty Sanders (Jim). He is survived by: his wife Sue; his children, Tony Kalwei (Wendy), Angela Cromes (Steve), Kristi Adair (Mike) and Kerry Uptergrove (Brant); his siblings, Dick Kalwei (Rebecca) and Mary Lou Swigart (Steve); and his siblings-in-law, Jim Kipper (Tasha), Katie Elliott (Brian) and Ann Krull. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Harrisonville Ministerial Alliance.
