Morris of Kansas City, Missouri, born in Sedalia, Missouri, who passed away on May 28, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jewell Morris and Nina Yaple Crain Morris; and his wife Marcella Meier Morris. He is survived by: his daughters, Nancy Morris and Linda Shaffer (Arthur); his grandchildren, Logan and Victoria Shaffer; and his cousin Rebecca Garst (Donald) of Marshall. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Our families met in the Kansas City apartment building near Crown Center where we lived until my parents and I moved to Pierre South Dakota when my father was hired as Director of SD Legislative Research Council in July 1965 when I was 6 months old. Bob is a special person and he regularly called my parents on birthdays and Christmas!! I am a better person for having known Bob, Marcella, Linda and Nancy! Ethan Schmidt - Rapid City SD”
