It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Edward Garrett of Kansas City, Missouri, born in Huron, South Dakota, who passed away on January 31, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Robert departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Robert leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rex Garrett and Irene Garrett. He is survived by: his wife Louann Garrett; his daughter Stephanie Garrett; his grandchildren, Lexi Hanson (Allison), Jack Hanson and Dane Hanson; his sister Connie Posz (Buzz); his nephew David Posz (Angie); and his niece Michelle Hendrickson (Rich).
