He was predeceased by: his parents, Billie Mitchell and William Mitchell; his sister Cindy Meyer; and his granddaughter Dominique Hernandez. He is survived by: his wife Denise Mitchell; and his children, Jennifer Hernandez, Sam Hernandez (Myranda), Cassandra Cavanaugh and Tiffany Mitchell. He is also survived by his eleven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
