It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Earl Walden (Kansas City, Missouri), who passed away on October 22, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Robert departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Robert leaves behind.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edwin John Walden and Barbara Walden (Stevens); his siblings, Carey E. Walden, Andrew W. Walden, Carol (Walden), Homan (Steve) of Sedalia Missouri, Susan (Walden) and Thurston (Jonathan) of Independence Missouri; his son Robert Paxton; and his pet Gizmo. He was also cherished by numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
