It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Lynn Mayes of Kansas City, Missouri, born in Cameron, Missouri, who passed away on September 15, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Orville Mayes, Jr. and Helen Barber-Mayes (Nadine); his brothers, Robert Dean and Donald; his wife Deborah Jean Thompson (Debbie) of Polo, MO.; his children, Kevin Lynn Mayes (Darlene) and Staci Lee Paquette (Derek) of Gladstone, MO.; his grandchildren, Ashley of Eagle Mountain, Madison of Eagle Mountain, Chase Mayes of Eagle Mountain, Mia Mayes of Gladstone, Taylor of Gladstone and Easton Paquette of Gladstone; and his brothers, Rodney Mayes (Shelly) of Kingston, MO. and Ronnie Mayes of Platte City, MO.. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
