He was predeceased by: his mother Mae Leona Mikels (Williams); and his brother Donnie. He is survived by: his wife Patti; his daughters, Shannon Bernal, Genny Monks (Keith), Stacey Oldham (Trent) and Kathy Mikels; his grandchildren, Tristan Dull (Regan), Payton (Micah), Brady (Grace), Ashley Monks, Roman, Gracie Bernal and Eliza Mikels; and his siblings, Wayne Mikels (Mary), Galen Mikels (Kathy), Karla Schaben (Jay) and Brent Mikels (Kelly). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McGilley Antioch Chapel (3325 NE Vivion Rd, Kansas City, MO 64119). A committal service will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Leavenworth National Cemetery (150 Muncie Rd, Leavenworth, KS 66048).
