We are sad to announce that, on February 2, 2026, at the age of 97, Ruth Ann Legg (Kansas City, Missouri), born in Minneapolis, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Ruth Ann find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Hubbard (Davis) and Ross Thompson; and her siblings, Jim Davis, Bonnie Clanton and Harriet Lee Hawkins.
She is survived by: her children, Tom Legg (Alison), David Legg (Cindy) and Elisa Hamby. She is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
