Johnson (Kansas City, Missouri), born in Pineville, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 5, 2025 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbert Clark and Rosa Harris; her son Jerry Wayne Johnson; her husband Cornelius Johnson; her siblings, Worley Mae Clark and Leonard Clark Sr.; her niece Wilma Faye Dorsey Summlin (Diane Dorsey); and her great-nephews, John David Dorsey and Steven Ray Allen Jr..
She is survived by: her goddaughter Rhonda Williams; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Angela Dossman (Warren) of Alexandria, Louisiana, Michelle Jones of Alexandria, Louisiana, LaKeisha D. Dorsey of Pineville, Louisiana, Alicia L. Dorsey of Houston, Texas, John David Clark (Tamika) of Lafayette, Louisiana and Tyrell Jamal Clark Whitney of Natchitoches, Louisiana.; and her close friends, Hazel, Wanita, Dez and Diane.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lawrence A. Jones & Sons Funeral Chapel (1800 Linwood Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64109). A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Brooking Cemetery (10004 E 53rd St, Raytown, MO 64133).
