He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis J. Burkett and Mary "Elloise" Burkett. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Jean Praechter; his sons, Donald Stephen Pappert (Lavonne) of Smithville, MO and Douglas Allen Pappert (Heather) of Kansas City, MO; his grandchildren, Keith Dawson (Bethany), Austin Dawson, Kianna Pappert, Ryan Pappert and Leah Pappert; his great grandchildren, Colton and Daisy Dawson; and his brother Christopher Pappert of Springboro, OH..

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions are suggested to St. Therese Parish.
