With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steven Anthony Smirnes of Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on March 18, 2023 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Henry Smirnes; and his pet Picasso. He is survived by: his mother Allie Smirnes (Lemons); his stepfather Wayne; his sister Lisa McGill; his brother-in-law Ryan; his stepsiblings, Brooke McDonald and Raymond McGary (Cyndi); his nephew Johnathan Weisgerber (Ashley); and his pet Luigi.

In lieu of flowers donation can be made to the KC Pet Project in memory of Steve.
