He was predeceased by: his parents, Gloria Baker (Cunningham) and Thomas Baker; his siblings, Gloria Leahy, William and Robert Baker; and his sister-in-law Lois Moran Baker.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Blottman; and his nieces and nephews, Tom Baker (Beth) of Greensboro, NC, Peggy Truss (John) of Jacksonville, FL, Kathy Rohr (Tony) of Mission Hills, KS and Dan Baker (Kim) of Winnetka, IL.. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
