It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Edward Carey of Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on May 29, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Ann Hare (Bonnie) and Betty Dunlap; his children, Athena Dickson (Andy), William Carey (Jessica) and Mary Anne Preston (Dale); and his grandchildren, Catherine, Gloria, Krystina, Destiny, Jayson, Nathan, Maximus, Ellie, Khristian, Sam and Liam. He is also survived by other loving nieces and great grandchildren.
A rosary will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the McGilley State Line Chapel (12301 State Line Rd, Kansas City, MO 64145). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A prayer will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at the same location.
