With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas Perry Elfter in Kansas City, Missouri, born in Lincoln, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 27, 2026 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas George Elfter and Anna Elfter (Calamaris); and his brother George Elfter. He is survived by: his wife Janet Elfter (Conditt); his children, Nicholas Elfter and Catherine Groth (Paul); his grandchildren, Sophia and Claira; his stepchildren, Melanie Butcher and James Butcher; and his sister Mariana Vavalette. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in honor of Thomas's memory.
