With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas Francis McGuire of Kansas City, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 29, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Felix McGuire Sr. and Nora Kathleen Schorgl; his grandfather Tom; his daughter Colleen Elizabeth McGuire; and his granddaughter Mary Kathleen Ervie.
He is survived by: his children, James McGuire, Jim, Mary Theresa Boso, Hank, Jane Catherine Bourquin, Alexander Felix McGuire Jr. and Louis J. McGuire; his sister Anne McGuire; his children, Maureen Kruse of Columbia, MO, Michele Behnen (Bob) of Kirksville, MO, Ann Weimer (Randy) of Salisbury, MO, Kathleen Ervie (Eugene) of Kansas City, MO and Tom McGuire (Lisa) of Overland Park, KS.; his grandchildren, Dan Kruse, John Kruse, Megan Fainter, Madeline Burris, John Behnen, Joseph Behnen, Joseph Weimer, Maria Wyatt, Ellen Weimer, Michael Weimer, Clare Weimer, Olivia Ervie, Sam Ervie, Max Ervie, Luke Ervie, Kate McGuire and Molly McGuire; his great grandchildren, Avery, Owen Kruse, Mac Kruse, Mary Lane, Hank Weimer, Ellie, Jett Fainter, Annie, Rory Wyatt, Patrick, Eli Burris and Presley Weimer; and his sisters-in-law, Kathleen McGuire (Phil) and Marlene McGuire (Lou). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
