We announce the death of Timothy John Knopp (Kansas City, Missouri), born in Colby, Kansas, who passed away on September 18, 2026, at the age of 68. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Joseph Knopp and Juliana Bertha Meitl Knopp; and his brothers, David Paul Knopp and Carl Joseph Knopp. He is survived by: his siblings, Agnes Ward, Anita Doll, Mary Hessenflow, Barbara Mueller, Tony, Steve and Frank Knopp; his daughter Millicent Julia Knopp; his son-in-law Ian Kloster; his grandson Asa Wilde Kloster of North Kansas City; his daughter Lydia Mary Knopp Moreno; his son-in-law Nick Moreno; and his grandson Felix Gonzalo Moreno of Kansas City, Kansas.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Burcham Park (200 Indiana St, Lawrence, KS 66044).
