It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Viola Waldschmidt of Kansas City, Missouri, born in Ellis, Kansas, who passed away on March 15, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Pfeifer and Anne Pfeifer (Gaschler); her husband Mel Waldschmidt; her daughter Nancy Shaw; and her brother Alvin.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia King (David) and Mike Waldschmidt, MD (Linda); her granddaughter Sarah Muelleman (Tommy); her great grandchildren, Leighton and Crawford; her granddaughter Haley Reyes (David); her great grandchild Dawson; her granddaughter Katherine Quarnstrom (Eric); her great grandchild Anderson; her grandson Davis Waldschmidt; her son Tony Waldschmidt (Peg); her grandchildren, Branden, Travis and Katelynn Mann (Alex); her great grandchild Parker; her children, Laurence Shaw, Nicole Hill (Jon Kershaw), Arwin, Adeline, Evelyn and Olive; her stepgrandchildren, Wade King, Sheri Crawford, Eric Shaw and Chris Shaw; and her brothers, Albert, Ambrose and Ralph.
