She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Choate and Nell Choate of Gamaliel; her husband James Spears of Mountain Home; her son Michael Spears; and her sister Deanna Slutter.
She is survived by: her children, David Spears (Diana) and Teresa Easley (Thomas); her brother Larry Choate (Kathy); and her grandchildren, Ryan, Lauren, Kobey, Jimmy and Elliot. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to NorthCare Hospice House in North Kansas City, Missouri.
