She is survived by: her son Matthew; her siblings, Cyrill Brown (Dixie) of Belton, MO, Stephen Brown, Perry Brown of Springfield, MO and Eliza Melson (Charles) of Joplin, MO; her goddaughter Dana Nelson of Olathe, KS; and her friends, Barbara Stinett Boyd of Dallas, TX, Mary Jackson, Baltimore, MD and Drenda Coleman. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
