With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wilburn Thomas Stancil of Kansas City, Missouri, born in Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on January 24, 2026 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Gordon Stancil and Tommye Dee Chapman; his sister Martha King; and his wife Pat Stancil. He is survived by: his daughter Emily Marie (Josh); his grandchildren, Riley, Khalil, Charlie and Beth; and his siblings, Becky Dewease (Steve), Carol Harrell (Mike) and Brett Stancil.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer, where Bill, Pat, and Emily have been members since 1994.
