He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Francis and Neva Faye Burke (Foley); his wife Elisabeth Burke; his brother Thomas Burke; and his grandson Benjamin Burke.

He is survived by: his sons, Scott Burke (Gina) of Newton, Kansas and Mike Burke (Shelly); his brother John Burke (Sandy) of Henderson, Nevada; and his sister-in-law LouAnn Burke Riser of Liberty, Missouri.. He is also survived by six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.
