He is survived by: his son David Emerson (Christie); his grandson Billy Emerson; his children, Sabastian, Van, Jennifer Schnelle, Jacob Emerson, Lucas Emerson, Kahner, Karley, Bradley Emerson, Brian Emerson, Renee Keith, Valerie Emerson, Patrick Sears, Zackary, Caylie and Amanda Garcia (Sears); his grandchildren, Alyssa, Raul, Ivan, Emma and Oliver (Joshua Sears); and his great grandchild Tinley.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Center (1014 W 39th St, Kansas City, MO 64111).
