He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Finney and Mary Finney; his wife Janie Finney; and his siblings, Mary Ellen Spaight and John Finney.
He is survived by: his children, Melissa Jones (Tim), Robin Webb (Tim) and Allison Wright (Nick); his grandchildren, Janilyn Mills (Adam), Josie Jones (Dakota), Logan Wright and Cody Wright; his great grandchild Willow Freeman-Born; his sister Dorothy Woodward (Eddy); his brother-in-law Johnnie Longfellow (Beth); his nieces and nephews, Tonya Barry (Steve), Brian Longfellow, Joe Woodward and Andrea Veatch (Chris); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Cameron Barry, Clancy Woodward, Barrett Veatch and Blaine Veatch.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Terrace Park Funeral Home & Cemetery (801 NW 108th St, Kansas City, MO 64155). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
