With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Peter Sohm of Kearney, Missouri, born in Chicago, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 22, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Peter F. Sohm and Ruth H. Sohm (Prost). He is survived by : his wife Linda L. Sohm (Hosner); his children, Dale L. Sohm (Valerie Sohm), Drew T. Sohm and Kimberly L. Adkins (Paul A. Adkins); his grandchildren, Erick Sohm (Stephanie), Haillee Sohm, Courtney Lohkamp (Joseph Lohkamp), Gabrielle Adkins, Collin Adkins and Mia Adkins; and his sisters, Judy Sohm and Marge Sanford (Richard Sanford). He is also survived by two nieces, one nephew, and eight great nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Church of the Annunciation (701 N Jefferson St, Kearney, MO 64060). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Alzheimer's Association (https://act.alz.org) to help continue their important work in providing care, support, and accelerating research.
